Uniform

Here you will find our uniform information including which items are required and where to purchase them. The Oak Tree Academy provide a purple jumper or cardigan for each children as they move into year 6 to represent the academy as a Mighty Oak.

In the entrance of the academy, there is a swap shop where parents and carers can donate any clean, second-hand unform and collect anything they require for FREE.

Jewellery

As part of the school Health & Safety Policy children are only allowed to wear a watch.

Other jewellery such as bracelets, earrings and necklaces are not permitted. If you are thinking of getting your child’s ears pierced, please wait until the start of the 6 weeks holidays so your child’s earrings can be removed in September. The school is not responsible for any jewellery lost, stolen or damaged on school property, this includes watches.

Children are NOT permitted to wear make-up to school, this includes the wearing of nail varnish and transfers / temporary tattoos.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones/ smartwatches and other electronic technology must be switched off at the academy gate, kept out of view and remain switched off until students exit the academy gate at the end of the day. If a child is seen with any of the items above in the academy, they will be confiscated, placed in the safe, and will only be returned to a parent/carer.
