Year 3 have been looking at the different layers of the earth and they replicated it with play dough. They then completed a volcano experiment - they looked at the parts of the volcano. They completed an investigation to simulate how the pressure works - it builds up in the magma chamber and ...pushes up through the vents and eventually the crater of the volcano.

Year 1 have started their Conquering the Monster literacy topic and linked it to stories the children already knew. They were looking at the different monsters and the good characters in the stories, talking about their features and what made them good or scary!
