Early years Pupil Premium:

From April 2015 the early years pupil premium was introduced to support disadvantaged pupils in their pre-school setting. Priorities for the spending of the Academy allocation are reviewed in line with the needs of pupils and include:

  • Communication resources;
  • Welfare support assistant to ensure high ratio of adult learning support;
  • Development of the Early Years environment to support language acquisition;
  • Parent sessions/workshops;
  • Targeted additional adult support in all prime areas.

The Oak Tree Academy is a member of the Northern Education Trust.
We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.
